Great GMs don't need to cave. Many a great player has been traded and those teams went on to great things. The cave is in right now.

100% agree but suggesting it draws serious flack. If the guy is that pleased with his performance it would be interesting to see what other GM's would be willing to part with to acquire him. There are still a few holes in the Leafs lineup. They could fill them all dealing Marner. They're still going to score with what they have. Trade the friggin guy

I just hope something is done about the guaranteed contracts. Either go soft cap or get id of guaranteed contracts. This system is trying to do both and it sucks.
