I agree on the stripes...they had 4, 1 for each decade at the time, same as the Gold ones have 5.

It's not that it's a bad look, although I don't really like the logo (where are the sabres, are the horns supposed to represent the sabres?). The colors aren't bad (outside of maybe looking too much like Ottawa). It's just that the royal blue and gold (imo) are the Sabres colors. The original Buffalo Sabres logo is a classic, it's one of the best logos in all sports, ever. I understand why fans who grew up with the black/red would like them, as that's probably a big part of why I feel so strongly about original logo and colors. It's not that the black&red jerseys are terrible, it's more that they should've never even existed in the first place.
