So very ready, it would be stupid to pass on him. - Wetbandit1
“...but mostly, it was hard to grade him with what was around him.”
Try reading the article
Without his 3 of his top4 WRs, and a “makeshift o-line” he led them to 2 FGs on 4 drives
10-18 for 102yds
It’s not like he was horrible,
even though the circumstances sure weren’t great for Rosen |

Oh, I did, did you see the coach's presser? It was a disaster. He called him out on his body language and having no control on the huddle, in public. Super duper ready!! |

The Bills would have taken Allen at 5 if it wasn’t for Chubb falling to the Broncos. Elway was going to move back. |

But Rosen was the most readiest QB ever in the history of the world! Allen was definitely NOT READY! |

I really really really really hope we're done looking for a qb for 10 years
The bar is set at "better than Tyrod Taylor"
I'll take Andy Dalton at this point |

With the Bills defense all Allen has to do this year is not throw interceptions and not do anything to hurt the offense. He doesn’t have to throw for 400 yards and 3 touchdowns. Just don’t mess up. Shoot Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer each won super bowl behind stud defense. |

Stud defense, above average ground game, QB that doesn’t turn the ball over gives you a chance to win every game you play. |

Very true. All Allen has to do is not lose the games. Can he do that? We shall see. |

That's why I'm setting the bar at Tyrod Taylor. He was the king of not (frank)ing up. I know allen will have more INTs than Taylor, but hopefully he can create more as well |

If Allen is average this year ..... 3,500 yards and 20-25 tds. That is a good year. (Obviously we would want to see better than that as time goes on)
For the first time in a long long time .... I like the progress Allen has shown vs any bills qb we have had
Tyrod sucked -> knew that 2 games in
Ej sucked -> knew that 3 games in
And so on. |

U can continue to use Rosen as a benchmark to try & make yourself feel better about Allen if you want, but here are the facts:
Allen last season:
Passing yards per game- 32nd
Completion percentage- 33rd
TD percentage- 31st
Interception percentage- 31st
Yards per attempt- 32nd
Josh Allen was unequivocally NOT READY
You can make fun of it by quoting me
You can distract from it with talk of Rosen
But the facts are the facts
Although his decision making does look improved so far this preseason for the most part
Still got a ways to go with that though,
and the accuracy issues are still there
I do think he has a chance to take a step this year though
I’m encouraged by what I’ve seen so far |
