Yes. A terrible horrible football player. Still 9th all time in the NCAA rushing yards. 8 NFL seasons including 3 over 1000 yards. Too bad for him he came to the Bears at the wrong time. I'm sure you were kidding but still wanted to mention. I wasn't happy with the draft choice personally but he was a legend coming out of Texas. He must have been treated like a god down there coming up. Sad for his loved ones. My mom would never let me get a motorcycle. Not after their friend got scrapped up off of I-57 with a snow shovel by their fireman friend after a wreck

I lost a close friend who was a up and coming golden gloves boxer with lots of potential he was killed on Roosevelt road by a driver whom didn't see him at the age of 20.

Bikes can be fun to ride but the problem is the other cars on the road not seeing you as they merge and dumb stupid people who ride their bikes in andmoutmof traffic at high speed that's a death wish.

My nephew was in a motorcycle accident last month. Luckily, he just got a little road rash, but it could have been much worse. A truck pulled out in front of him, and he had to lay his bike down. He ended up sliding under the truck. The accident happened right in front of an ambulance, and the EMTs said he did everything right.

I've been out about 8 times this year which is good for a me. It's tough to sneak out with a young family.

Not bad, yea i know family with little ones demand a lot of time, especially if you want to have a good relationship with your better half. Now that the kids are off to college or married on their own, get out about 3 times every 2 week's. Believe me you'll be there before you know it, they grow up so fast.

Glad your nephew is okay, it's a tough world out there for cyclists. Been driving since 10, dabbled in motor cross racing as a teen, barely saw the road while raising my kids, but since they are living their lives I'm back on the saddle. Truly enjoy it, it's not for everyone.

Thanks, he's only 19, and has only had his motorcycle license for about 4 months. I don't know if he'll ride again, he was pretty shaken up.

I know, I hear that a lot. We're really trying to enjoy each stage. Our oldest heads to JK in a few weeks and it just seems like yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital.
