So, Bracco is just like Wellwood, but like 250lbs lighter?

this is a terrible strategy, and I doubt Dubas thinks that way
Just like Vesey was going to replace Nylander.

If Bracco was close the Nylander in any way, he would already be in the NHL

- senstroll

i am picking up what you are putting down. no chance we could compete with pegula for vesey.

to replace nylander, we need to hit a homerun and find the next jimmy vesey here. if we are really lucky, maybe we can even find a neil poink to replace barrie.

I'm guessing that Dubas is holding onto Bracco until the "jury comes in on the Nylander 2020...." ... i.e. does he return to the 60+ point player or other? and then what happens with Marner's contract.

In the event that either Dubas moves Nylander or Marner ends up being traded/offered sheeted out of town (please don't accuse me of sounding like Dreger)... then Bracco remains the insurance policy.

There were a handful of articles around the web showing that Willie had basically turned back into a 60 pt guy after that poopty 16 game beginning. From mid Jan to end of year he was about 55 pts per season (pace).

From a points perspective he's already back ...and can only get better.

Why don't we just wait for Baptiste to develop?

this

He will have more 5v5 points than Marner...and If he had the same PP role they would be close in points as well.

The only thing Nylander and Bracco share is their passing skills...The Leafs don't have anyone in the org to replace Nylander.
- Santo_44

Meh, I like Wee Willy, but we did just fine when he was at home eating Bon Bons last year.

I finished the second season of Dark.

Great show, one of my favourites in recent memory.

You have to ignore the first 19 games for that.
But you really cant.
Hoping for a bounce back year.....actually Im expecting a bounce back year.

I have heard good things.
Even the dubbing is apparently decent if you dont want to read subtitles.

It was absolutely awesome. It's probably my favourite Netflix show (with the now cancelled Santa Clarita Diet).

I recommend going with the subtitles, the acting is fantastic and you lose an element of it with overdubs.

You can't completely.

But when you look at how productive he was the first two seasons? and after the first 20 games?

Yeah I think if someone wants to make the assumption the contract dispute played a huge role in those first 20 games it is a safe assumption.

I can see why some are angry with him.

I am excited to see him prove a lot of his doubters wrong on paper this season.

I'd suggest it's pretty obvious.

Nobody's overstating Willie's track record by suggesting that he's a 60 pt kid with lots to prove and lots of room to grow.

Depends for what Marner signs for...but it isn't hard.

50% salary retained.

There is also the option of swapping Ceci out if he is indeed garbage.

Like a Green for Ceci plus a pick for example.

Not angry, just think we played great even when he wasn’t part of the team. He’s just a winger, now if we lost AM or JT that would be irreplaceable, Nylander’s not that.

Glendening will be a Leaf at the deadline. Hollandaises loyalty can't save him now! Babschlong gets his 18 minute forward.
