Holland will want something good.
Other teams will offer him poop.
Eventually there will be a deal of similar players 1 for 1 and everybody will whine. - AdamFrench

i found it interesting when columbus finish gm passed on drafting him.
all the physical tools, but maybe not right mentally for the nhl. - Tumbleweed
That's a very good observation. If anyone had the inside contacts to get better insight into him, it was going to be Kekalainen. I hadn't really considered that before. |

while this doesnt show that, it doesnt present a good case for Bracco

and I would trade Bracco for puljarvis - senstroll
For sure he has some things to work on.
he has a lot of talent and could probably run a 2nd PP right now.
But yes he would get (frank)ed defensively...but luckily thats a lot easier to teach than the skills he already has. |

Good read for those who are putting value into Bracco. - matt1337
That article also fluffs up Mueller pretty good, which I find funny. The reason he has success is because of guys like Bracco, not the other way around.
I agree with the article that Bracco needs to get better defensively, though. |

yep. that and maybe he spoke to him in finnish during interviews and didn't like what he heard.
can't blame poopty answers on English as a 2nd language. |

I was thinking more along the lines of a Pulju for Olli Juolevi/Michael Dal Colle/Robbie Fabbri/Jake Virtanen
Other "high potential" guys who haven't figured it out. |

Of course he does.
But a lot of his job is developing the Marlies too.
It goes hand in hand. His boss Dubas has dumped money into developing the Marlies and he’s not going to hire a coach to throw it all away. - Santo_44
Keefe is there to win and get a NHL gig. I’m sure they’re developing too, but....it’s about the W’s which seems obvious by that article. |

Agreed - GreatGigInTheSky
He could be used as a trade chip as well though.
I do agree with the article that Marner, Nylander, Kap make it hard for him to make it. |

Not sure he’d get a chance with the Leafs, yet. |

final offer:
#25 – Eemeli Rasanen - Defense, Jokerit – KHL / Toronto Marlies – AHL
#24 – Pontus Holmberg – Left Wing, Vaxjo HC – SHL |

Probably not.
A half year with the Marlies would do him good. |

Trading Bracco might be a good idea.. We have a lot of depth at RW, it would suck if he turns out to a 60-70 point guy in the NHL though |

Yeah, I agree. I like Bracco and want him to be a player on the Leafs because he's an incredible passer and skater who is excellent on the power play, but there's a lot of really good players in his way. |

That’s the risk you take.
Some trades prospects turn into Forsberg.
Some turn into “insert name of the 1,000,000 prospects who turned out to be trash” |

Use him for a need at the TDL. This is a big year for the leafs. |

Even then, there’s really no room for him unless we get a few injuries.
Probably get traded in a package with Ceci for Nik Lidstroms sperm.

i think we need to get an established nhl dman back for bracco.
bracco++ for manson?
it would have to be someone with a reasonable caphit. |

Unlikely.
He’s a prospect. We are likely looking at one of the UFA defensmen.
Bracco+ a pick depending on who it is. |

I know, but the fear is that it will result in an Erat for Forsberg trade.

I heard The Red Wings have that kept in the heart of Detroit with multiple drug addicts guarding it.

Well that trade was also stupid.
Erat wasn’t even that good.
But again, you can’t be worried about giving up value. You have to give to get. |
