Marner, while he is easily the most entertaining player, isn't the best.
It'd be great if people could differentiate between entertaining and best players.  |

I think it ill be a struggle to make the playoffs for the Leafs this season with Marner all year. If he pulls a Nylander, things could get very ugly.

The leafs finished 3-4-3 in their last ten games. That is true, but that is not the reason they couldnt catch Boston.the reason is their record from Xmas to the end of thyhe season. |

The Atlantic is still argueably the worst division in hockey. With 2 of the worst 3 teams in the league. Leafs and lightening benefit from this although both are good teams. There points do get skewed a bit.
Lightening should have a chip on their shoulder this year. Leafs should by all logical progression reach the 2nd rnd. If either team fails again in first round it would be a disaster in team planning and management. |

wow. Not sure I see the Bruins falling off a cliff. Toronto replaced Gardiner with Barrie, an upgrade but not sure it will be enough to make up for the loss of Kadri. That guy was a pain in the a$$ to play against. This was an overly optimistic take. And that's assuming Marner is signed to start the season. But I do like positive thinking |
