he seems like a sure fire NHL prospect, right handed, definitely would start out in the A though

but I think he probably would look at the Rangers as a difficult team to crack, my guess is he signs with someone a lot weaker in prospects than we are

Not necessarily. Our only natural RD other than our starters is Keane and Raddysh. It would be a long shot, but what if Fox is injured or he simply outplays him. It's not that far fetched this year he could be in the plans. I know we have some good guys in the system elsewhere, but I don't think it would have any bearing on him.

The last two if i was a college guy would make me pause. I wouldn't consider Hayes in that boat because he played for us a number of years and was about to hit UFA. Don't forget we traded Talbot too. Understandable for sure, but that's another college free agent

I think Pionk would make me pause the most, but things we got going for him would be a former college coach behind the bench for the Rangers, another ECAC guy in Fox
