Ahhh that makes sense.

Not sure I totally buy but that is the argument.

I’m way more concerned about doctor compensation within a universal healthcare system than I am about doctor competition given that the ACA lowered the percentage of the bill that Medicare and Medicare paid out. One of the main factors that forced my dad to sell his private practice to the hospital system. This system isn’t very friendly to private practice and makes the whole health care system much more corporatized.

She had a really good conversation with Rogan.

That’s the biggest issue with any of these campaigns is that there’s almost zero long form conversations. The debates are horrible. The news doesn’t help. Giving these candidates an hour or two to just have a conversation goes a long way to learn about these people imo.

I like Gabbard from the limited times I've seen her, but if she's promising more "free sh*t" like the rest of that group, I'll never vote for her. That's the problem with the democrats. The country has like 100 trillion of debt and they think they can continue to add more. The rebubs are only slightly better unfortunately.

I'd love to see someone ask Bernie to explain the dire condition of Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid and tell me how the government would handle universal healthcare better.

It would definitely increase the competitiveness for the marketplace.

Gabart is probably the highest profile politician that I agree with in foreign policy the most with the only caveat being whenever she talks about Assad. We should not support Assad. We shouldn’t be actively trying to oust him either but we shouldn’t be helping him.

And I could give real stories. But it's quite obvious reading that dude's post he has zero care for any info that doesnt align with his opinion. So instead he can just get trolled.

I just haven't heard any evidence other than so and so countries do it and it works great. Just like Madmike is saying, look at our Social security and how much our government took from it. I'm open to anything as long as it's not "free".

Well real story. I took my wife to the ER and it took us 5 mins to start receiving care...

Depending on severity that can happen in Canada too....one time a friend of mine turned around quickly and accidentally put a cigerrete out on my eye ball. It melted the side of it. If it had hit pupil I would of been blinded for life in that eye...anyways it was extremely painful and left ashes and debris in my eye. I was rushed to hospital, sat in an operating chair with special die on eye so ashes were visible in special light, ashes picked out of eye ball and sent home all in under a half hour.

Another time I sprained my ankle and was there 3 hours.

The eye time they were afraid of debris and ashes causing permanent damage and went at me swiftly. The ankle time I had x-rays in first hour. In next hour results came back it was a sprain. Then in 3rd hour it was wrapped and I was given a free* pair of crutches to go home with.

Level of severity governs the ER time up here usually.

I hate any argument on any subject that says “look at these countries, it works there.” Not saying that anyone who said that is wrong, its just difficult to get behind such a general statement on topics that have so many different variables.

It’s such an empty argument. There are SO many factors why things in that country have a certain thing going for them and there are so many factors that wouldn’t allow something like that to fly in other countries.

Man, it was insanely painful. I can still hear the sound of my eye ball burning as the cigarette cherry hit eye ball.As it happened I just lost all strength in legs and hit the ground. I was poop baked I was blinded for life.

It was summer time and I had to stay in my basement in same lighting for a month because the pupil dialating was excruciatingly painful. Insane. I would wake up and my eye would be all puss and crusted shut. Every time for weeks. My bud who did it to me used to have lots of weed kicking around...so he gave me an ounce out of pure guilt. That helped with not only the pain but also the boredom of being inside for weeks in the summer hahah

You're a good anti-smoking campaign.

But seriously, that sounds terrible.

It wont work here. But your claim of 4-6 times longer waiting is also pure fiction.
