They played like 10 games before that game, and 4 periods before that, right? And because he gave up one OT goal on a fluke shot to the games greatest player at the time that’s “wilting?”

C’mon man!

- Der Kaiser

I dk of another goalie that had more shutouts going with less than 5 mins left in the 3rd and always gave up a soft goal.

He was famous for it.

Aren’t domestic animals dogs & cats, etc?
Idk that someone should be fired for it,
but that’s kinda messed up

I'm starting to think that you are so incredibly dense that there's a literal black hole where your brain should be.

That’s true. But it doesn’t mean he wilted in the Olympics.

I kind of disagree here
It’s no secret that I’m probably the most critical of Allen on here

He missed some throws deep,
which is concerning

But for the most part, was also quickly reading the defense & throwing the ball on time, and where he should
He didn’t do that much last year

He was “quarterbacking” instead of just being athletic

Still a ways to go
But overall i think it was VERY encouraging,
even if it was a small sample size

Barkley looked more polished against the 2s than Allen did against the 1s.

Not surprising. Barkley is experienced.

Allen putting a 10 yard throw into the dirt like he did on the first series is going to get old. You have to make that throw as an NFL player

Did you watch the video?

He was getting better as the season went on.

10 games prior to tearing his knee he was 29-6-6-1.3..........

At 39.

He had them on pace to be the top seed in the east.

They went from one of the worst defensive teams to a top 6 team.

I was always a fan, I just never realized how good he still was at 39 and 40.

I agree to a point
Allen still has a ways to go

But his biggest obstacle to overcome imo is being able to correctly read defenses,
and then deliver the ball on time to the right receiver
He did a pretty good job of that tonight
Definitely looked better than last year

Accuracy needs to be worked on though still, i agree

Zay quit on the one deep ball

Nice completion to Beasley wiped out by penalty

Nice first and 20 first down from their 10

Didn't/couldn't really run the ball

Bootleg sack took them out of a drive

He wasn't bad
Neither was Beasley or Brown

All good things
