I dont drink much at all anymore, I consider it a poison. Something clicked in my head where I realized I was spending good money to cloud my memories, sometimes do things I regret and make myself sick for a day or two and just kinda stopped. Also, I'm in my 30's and still want to play a lot of hockey in a week and be active... the hangovers just tear the energy, strength and endurance out of me.

Mojitos are good if there made right. There was this joint down in Key West that made the most delicious mojitos I’ve ever had and they got me drunk as poop too. Right in the water to watch that badass sunset with a mojito in my hand.

I don’t know if your serious or not but if Panarin wanted to come to the burgh JR would have made it happen. He’s Russian so I’m sure being on a team with Crosby and Malkin wasn’t to appealing to him.

All evidence over the last 2 decades suggests that isn’t true. Free Agent options are more limited then we admit over here. The Penguins unfortunately are not a preferred destination for Free Agents, regardless of the team outlook or success

Rust is demonstrably better than Tanev. He’s been better than McCann and there’s a statistical argument to be made that he’s even better than Galchenyuk. Kahun i have no idea. The books not out on him yet.

God poorly made mojitos are so (frank)ing annoying. They don’t get the proportions right and then there’s a bunch of sugar particles floating around that feel like sand when you take a drink. There are few places outside the Caribbean where I’ve had a good ‘jito, but when I find them I latch onto them.

I’m pretty shocked you don’t like Mules if you like ginger. I’ve never had a bad Mule the same way I’ve had a bad mojito so if you don’t like them it’s not because you just haven’t had a good one. Weird.

Yeah I dunno. Let me rephrase that, I’ll drink them if they’re free. I just think they taste more funky then delicious. But I would never buy one over other alcohol. Like... I never seek them out, there’s a million other drinks I’d rather have.

I get the Rust plays with Sid and Geno, but he’s also spent plenty of time away from them and consistently produces around top 6 caliber production. There’s a pretty big gap between Rust and Tanev that’s hard to explain away with “well rust spends time in the top 6”. The rates suggest Rust has earned that time.

Historically Rust has an edge. I should have specified what Tanev did last year. If you want to argue Tanev needs to prove he can maintain that rate, I'd agree with you.

Last year, I see Rust at 1.7 pts/60 at 5v5 and Tanev at 1.53. I also see Rust getting 2/3 of his minutes in the top 6 while Tanev rarely playing off the 3rd line.

That's not demonstrably better to me. It's also in line with what Rust normally does, which is stretching the definition of top 6 production.

It’s just gross. I remember growing up everyone would say Vodka has no flavor or smell, but to me it’s very specific.

It can disappear a bit in certain cocktails, but overall I can pick it out easily.
