I never mentioned the Isles missing the playoffs. I just do not see a long playoff run with the current roster. Panarin and Kakko were huge adds for the Rangers to go along with the rest of their forward talent. I'm not picking the Rangers for a long playoff run either but the Rangers and Devils should be much improved and they are division rivals.

The Isles have talent but they need talent in the top 6. Do you trust Bailey in the top 6 again against a team like the Canes in the playoffs? Hopefully Beau improves but his is still unproven as a sure fire top 6 talent. Isles fans have real concerns and they are not making complaints just to complain.

How do you know? Guy has never played a shift in the NHL. He is 18 years old.. this is not Conor McDavid. He might be a very good NHL player. I don't see him just walking into the NHL at 18 and being a dominant force. ..sorry.

Panarin is a very good offensive player. He has never backchecked in his life and has the same numbers as Lee last year.. but who am I to question his greatness.

Nope! Winning one round is the Isles Cup and we should just be happy with that and not pay attention to what happened against the Canes or any other 2nd round loss.

Beating the pens was no small feat. They completely shut them down and didn’t let up. The problem was that’s exactly what the canes did to them in the second round. They have to adjust if they make the playoffs next season either with personel or or tactic. Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Yes, because IF he is on the top 6 then the coaching staff has gotten him to play to his capabilities. He has the talent... and will probably have another 55 + point season. My hope is Trotz gets him to be more consistent.

I do not know for sure about Kokko just like you do not know for sure Beau will be better or MDC and other young players on the Isles. Panarin is paid to produce offense and he does that very well.

did that to every team last year all year long. The Canes series was a combination of things. They had a 10+ game layoff. they still should have won the first game 1-0, and goodness forbid I mention this but in game 3 Lehner was not very good.

Besides. No matter what this guy is spouting off Panarin is a pretty good two way player😂

If Beau is not better he still will score 20 goals. He has already been in the league 3 years and is 22. His numbers should improve as most NHL players do at that age. That is a very big difference from an 18 year old kid who was the biggest kid on the ice for a lot of these junior tourneys he played so well... he is not in the deep end. I do think he will be a very good NHL player.. probably when he is 22.. not 18.

LOL.. now that is just absurd. Bailey is a better back-checker than Panarin.

Yeah and neither was the team in front of him. Don’t throw ten game lay-off up there like that’s some detriment any playoff team fights to finish the round ASAP to get that rest. They stopped competing after game one. That’s what happened along with the canes playing really well. The canes were the hungrier team and they won. That’s how it works.

Funny thing is NOBODY is “getting on” Lou. Chiefs posting we didn’t get Gusev and a couple people saying we haven’t added anything to our forward group. That’s it and those are non debatable facts. Everyone follows these posts with “there’s still time”, “maybe Lou will add or make a trade”, to try and curb the lunatic population from flipping out but to no avail. Nobody is saying lameriello sucks, fire him, I’m committing suicide, or anything remotely close to that. The “optimists” just love fighting, period. 😂

"While it's only been two years and Lou hired Barry, Lou has pretty much had the same type of offseasons as Garth in terms of the roster. There is no debate on this. Hopefully things change." SES

Cheif saying the only reason we got Trotz was no one else wanted him was my favorite point.

Here is what you wrote... you tell me how I read this wrong.

"Not turning this into a crap-on-Lou-fest, but I'm not particularly inclined to give him any credit for hiring Trotz. The same way Snow doesn't get credit for drafting Tavares #1 overall, I'm not crediting anyone for hiring a future-HoF coach coming off a championship. And most of the rest of the coaches came along with him.

Sincerely hoping there are some tricks up his sleeve, but I'm not particularly inclined to really believe there are any significant ones."

Yeah AT THIS POINT that is factual. Nothing has been done yet as far as improving the roster. That can change which every, single, person has mentioned but as of now that is fact. No where do I see Lou sucks, fire him, I’m going to kill myself, or any other fabricated reaction you’ve posted.
