Bratt was listed as lw on devils page, Coleman has played RW I believe and that 2nd line has little defense (not sure how gusev and how Hughes will play on the back check) and figured Simmonds was brought in for protection and to bang the puck in

Also zacha and bratt played well together at the end of the season so maybe they can get chemistry going

Not sure if McLeod makes the starting line up, I think boqvist makes the team if not I can see Bastian

Also no chance the captain isn't in the line up

I agree with others that there's a good case to switch Palms and Bratt. I also don't think it's a 100% given that Gusev is on the 2nd line. I know we signed him to big money.. I know he has big numbers.. but he's gotta earn the 2nd line LW just like anyone else not named Taylor Hall. Who's to say Boqvist doesn't look better? It'll be fun to watch. Excited we got this guy, and yea, he'll probably start in that spot barring the unforeseen.

so.. we basically have one single spot in the starting lineup for one of our handful of young forwards to snag. Coleman and Zacha can be switched, and Coleman can move to any position, so there's still a chance Boqvist makes the team on the left side, or Bastian, Hayden, McLeod, make the team over him. We shall see. Nice to have some talent and depth.

With the offseason Shero has had you can't complain about it at all. Everybody knew this was the year to make something happen and he certainly has.
