Agreed. Rangers won’t contend for two more years. Pretty much what everyone knows since still dealing with sather contracts handed out. Devils are ahead of the by year and half or so

Devils certainly have been in rebuilding longer but we started with very few assets. With the tear down the Rangers did and the return they got PLUS being very active in free agency I don't think we are really ahead. But it doesn't matter one way or the other. What matters is both teams hit bottom and are on the way up.

Should be a real hootenanny from here on out.

Sources tell The Athletic the Golden Knights gave Nikita Gusev's camp permission to meet with the New Jersey Devils this weekend, to see if a deal on a contract could be reached.

He led Dawes by 13 points for the scoring title. I believe his 3rd time in the top 10 as well. Kovy has never scored as many points in a season. I would compare him to style very similar to Jonathan Marchessault, tho the sample size is very limited. Hopefully his unbelievable international numbers can translate to the smaller ice.
P.S. he is an off-winger. Shoots right.

Not comparing him playstyle-wise but he had better KHL production than Dadonov and Panarin, Dadonov came over and put up 65 and 70 points, and we know how good Panarin is. Not saying he'll be as good as either, as it all depends on how he transitions over, but he is expected to be pretty darn good
