I was wondering about Peron Bailey or ZacMac stealing a spot? I hope there is a push from the bottom.

ZacMac has stellar numbers in Utica last year it's up to him if he wants to make the push.

Who is Peron Bailey?

Justin Bailey is the big 6'4 RW we signed . Has played for Buffalo and the Sabers. Most likely AHL but could push for 4 th line.

Perron is the guy Canucks traded a draft pick for to move down and trade for this waiver eligible player who put up decent numbers last year for SJ Barracuda . Strange move by Canucks.

I was just wondering out loud if there will be a new face on the fourth line.

I would like too see Bailey line up with Beagle, even for a shift.
The great Beagle Bailey combo.

This. Despite Motte being a work horse, and being signed to a reasonable contract, if someone can push him out of a spot and into the press box, thats a good thing. I think Zac has the best shot of making the jump to the NHL out of all the "prospects". Hoglander might be a sleeper.

I wasn't a fan of what I saw Zack bring last year hopefully he will be more aggressive

He is going to have to make a big push to make the current roster.

He will be a f/t Canuck by 2020-21. Low cost replacement which is what they will need with EP and QH close to re-upping......

How many games has Hughes played?
The way he is worshipped around here, I would think he has had 2 awesome seasons.
Talk about setting yourselves up for disappointment.

It's going to be a competitive camp. Lots of guys capable of taking a spot. Hoglander could slot into the bottom six with his tenacious style of play. He's better suited then Goldy.

It’s a fcking fan site man. You want people to be less excited about one of our best prospects? That should liven it up in here.

Same could be said about EP, he’s only played one season. Real disappointing looking prospects on them

It’d be fine to say if he was some random guy they called up at the end of the season, but being consistently ranked one of the top five players not in the NHL, it’s valid to be this excited. That kid is going to be amazing.

Thats a dream that Canuck fans need to let go. I'll be happily surprised if he did, but less than a handful of 1st rounders make it to the NHL the year they were drafted and maybe a handful a decade for the rest of the draft.

Totally fair, but fans need to temper their expectations. They already have him signing a 10 million contract in 2 years.....that kind of excitement falls into the realm of delusional.

But, go ahead, be excited. I'm totally jacked about a full season with him and with good reason, he's going to be a helluva player for this team for the next decade....

The las 2nd round pick to make it in his draft year that I can recall is ROR.

60 games, 30 points, proper deployment and put in a position to develop and I'll be happy.
