Being away from home has taken it's toll on us, we were handsomely compensated, my family's greatly benefited from it, but my wife and I are tired of being apart. She actually likes me so we are going to call it a day and retire for good.

I know a lot of military guys and my father was in the Navy, the nicest thing I could say is they're a different breed. I also know people in the RCMP and government, they are the most entitled me me me wieners I have ever encountered, sorry, not a fan.

Certain parts of the govt I could see lol but my experiences with the RCMP have been positive. Sure there are bad eggs with god complexes in every form of law enforcement it sound like it's too bad you have never met any of the good ones. Tough job out there policing the social-media based self entitled public nowadays.
