Since they signed that deal, all the RFA's want big money and shorter term. Maybe you can point to the Nylander deal but it was an extra year and not nearly as rich.

Even as a kid playing hockey in the summer made it like a job. Sure, it was fun but you had to give up other fun events as well.

Hoglander put up near identical numbers as Isac Lundestrom & Lias Anderson (who played in the SHL) in their respective draft years and both players played NHL games in their draft years. So it's not a stretch to assume that NH could do it but obviously another year in SHL would probably be a smarter move.

R Dahlin had more pts and so did Fagemo who was drafted a few spots after NH and actually signed his ELC the other day

I think with this years addition ( Our top 3 picks) we are very close to one of the best Canucks team in the next two years.

I just hope it is a normal year (not injury plagued) . This should be a lot of fun this year.

People laugh at Holland but man, that team won 4 cups and made the playoffs 26 years straight while he was there. Sure, he only became GM in 1997 but was AGM for 3 years and director of amateur scouting prior to that.
