I can certainly see Neal bouncing back - Lucic nope, never. The game has truly passed him by - but Neals season in Calgary was an outlier, he's been a consistent 20+ goal scorer his entire career and I think he has a few good years left in him. He may allow the Oil to finally separate Drai/McD and now have another decent winger that can score other than RNH & Chaisson.

Can confirm deal to send James Neal to Edm for Milan Lucic isn’t done yet, but is close. Oilers would include a conditional draft pick and retain some of Lucic’s salary when its completed

New management in Edmonton and he's joining the team with the best player in the league. I'm sure he's not heartbroken.

People laugh at Holland but man, that team won 4 cups and made the playoffs 26 years straight while he was there. Sure, he only became GM in 1997 but was AGM for 3 years and director of amateur scouting prior to that.

Over the same time period, the Canucks have won 7 playoff series.
