Id be blown away if Lucic ever scores 10 goals again. Main thing is I'm glad he's not our problem. - Brooks_Light
Loui's 10 goals > Lucic's 10 goals |

I can certainly see Neal bouncing back - Lucic nope, never. The game has truly passed him by - but Neals season in Calgary was an outlier, he's been a consistent 20+ goal scorer his entire career and I think he has a few good years left in him. He may allow the Oil to finally separate Drai/McD and now have another decent winger that can score other than RNH & Chaisson. - Brooks_Light
I bet he is pissed heading to that gong show in Edmonton. lucic happy about getting out? |

Kind of wish he was traded out of the division and back to the East. - manvanfan
Why ? He is so slow now that when he reaches the spot where he was going to fight the guy is already somewhere else. |

Now with Trouba signed, does that mean the flawless rebuild Rangers are in a "Kap Krunch"......lets see the Special K gang defend that... - chompsey
22 players signed and no cap space . |

New management in Edmonton and he's joining the team with the best player in the league. I'm sure he's not heartbroken.
People laugh at Holland but man, that team won 4 cups and made the playoffs 26 years straight while he was there. Sure, he only became GM in 1997 but was AGM for 3 years and director of amateur scouting prior to that.
Over the same time period, the Canucks have won 7 playoff series. |

With more TOI in the top 6 Neal still has potential. Just possibly one more for EDM's top 6 and they are playoff bound. Plus once Holland fixes the D lol |

Benson is young, he might step up over the next year or two. |

Huh I always just assumed the no move clause in Milan Lucic's deal was referring to his style of play |

I saw that earlier today. I had a good chuckle. |

Just a thought .
With the RFAs holding out and the teams holding out I wonder if the teams are going to plant their feet in the sand and be prepared for the players to hold out.
Th cost now is stupid what a player makes.
Sounds like Hogslander and Benning might be on standby if Brock doesn't sign. Sounds far fetched but who knows. |

Wonder if the 3rd round draft pick compensation to Flames on Lucic deal would be another marker on trading out LE? |

Slow enough to run into 259 people last season. |

It's that stupid Matthews contract. They gave him UFA status at 26 years old giving him nearly McDavid money. The poor bastard only has to learn to live on $70M until then.
Sure they can re-sign him bit there's not much incentive to sign beforehand, unless they're going to trade him before his last year. Head scratcher of a contract. |

Most are probably people just running into him and falling down. Those Pylons always taking people out. |

"Player friendly contract" Probably why they can't make it out of the first round. |
