Warcraft II on Kali..

Zug Zug

I played WoW also after Everquest (although I went back to Everquest many times over the years)

Got up to a level 80 Mage and Priest. NE female priest had a full Epic 1 set.

It got to be too much time being in a raiding guild.

I do remember

In a remarkably rare case of proper proactive behaviour, I called ahead. I don't remember precisely where it was. I lived down at Bathurst & Queen, and I think the CD was up on Bloor near Bathurst - but I don't remember, it was 25 years ago. I just remember when I called and she said they had 3, I jetted up there (by Street Car, baby) and got one.

only 25 years? It had to be more than that, no?

My brother was born that year and he's lame. So you're lame, too.

Oh yeah Red Alert was great also (what was the original title in that series?)

Total Anihilation was the RTS that was the most intense

Yeah, that game is way too time consuming to play as a working adult with a family.

I see some people being stupid about Marner.

But many are just saying trade the guy if he wants too much money.

Just like Nylander wanting 8...it’s something that needs to be done in a few months this time.

- Santo_44

Meh, he has a few months to sign no big deal.
He'll sign by the 1st game...hopefully by training camp.
If he misses a single game because of hold out.....then hes dead to me.
But no rush right now

Command and Conquer was the original, Redalert perfected the RTS though.

Redalert when played online became a completely different beast from the single player experience. Highest learning curve of any online RTS I've played.

great memories, I played "NHL Hockey" for genesis on a demo kiosk, it was the first on they came out with before the switched to the NHL 94, 95 etc.. I immediately traded in and sold off everything I could to get a genesis and that game. and bought it every year it came out on launch day for about 7 years.

Honestly, I wasn't much different. Although at some point along the way I ended up buying the games for PC. I had pretty much all of them up until maybe 2006. I still buy them but very rarely. I have NHL19 for the PS4. I honestly think it's become a younger kid's game. The controls are just exacerbating. I want to skate, skate faster, pass, shoot, hit, and sure - let's add poke check. But God. Skill stick. Deke. Spinorama. Drift & release. Hold. Fake shot. Slap pass.

Now if I play on anything other than easy I lose (I might outshoot them 30-5, but I'll lose 2-0), and if I play Easy I win 18-0.

And where you gonna get 500 million dollars for a new city-funded stadium without cheat codes?

I can only imagine Nenshi playing his own version of sim city where he's got to decide between roads and the calgary flames. (not a hard decision in my books)

I'm pretty sure I bought the Sega in '94 specifically to play NHL 94. But it's forever and a day ago, that's for sure.

Goldeneye was the source of many a fight between my friends and I.

No oddjob, no siberian special forces, no screenwatching on a 26" CRT televions

Tried playing it again a couple of years ago, the control schemes are atrocious.

I have the latest for the XBox. It's...ummm...for the kids. Yeah, that's it.

I play with "classic controls."
