Prosser played 31 AHL games and 15 NHL games as a defenseman last season.

Not the same as Stewart who was in England.

The NHL's expansion draft tweaking made it way too easy for them. They also made some really good choices but still. It's kind of annoying that they don't get the requisite decade of being a crap team like all of the other modern-era expansion franchises.

Thanks. Love hearing that Vegas is being strung out (like the did to everybody else). In the end a deal will get done but not a lot of teams having cap space.

I get that a KHL Russian is risky but this guy seems like a pretty sure thing to put up some numbers. The KHL is a low scoring league and for this guy to put up those numbers catches my attention.

The Stewart PTO in and of itself is a non-story. Really nothing wrong with it. Only thing I'm concerned about in camp is I want the NHL team identified as quickly as possible and whittle down to the last few spots. New coach and new system. I want the team playing together as much as possible without overplaying anyone so they can hit the ground running when the season starts.

Payback for expansion? Vegas didn't force any team to make any of those side deals. Some teams tried to be creative to save a specific player and ended up overpaying.

On the other hand Vegas trades and sign players like they don't have to comply with the cap. So they did that to themselves.

Good god people Its a PTO, Likely just a favor to get him exposure but you also never know, last I saw there were alot of complaints about the softness of the team, Now a PTO with no obligations on a 31 year old looking for likely a league minimum is such a big deal No wonder we Philly fans have such a bad reputation, every move is just more and more whining. Nothing wrong with a little competition for the yongesters to make the team, Personally my horse is on NAK to be the winger on the 3rd line, but whoever gets it will get to say they beat out a former 1st round pic.

I just saw on NHL network Sather is bringing Esa Tikkanen in on a PTO with the Rags.

Compher signed 4 years at 3.5 aav.

That bodes well for Konecny who should come in at least 5aav if you want to compare production. Not so good for Philly however.

And thinking Western Conference rivals aren't eager to help them out either. So that leaves about a dozen teams to deal with, and a lot of those are not interested, or capped out themselves.

Yeah I feel you on it being annoying, but we both know that’s not good for the NHL financially who’s trying to grow and sell a product, especially in a new city.
