Geez!

I’m sure glad we just gave a lesser player and Stewart’s best friend the boot.

Yeah no way he makes it, essentially it just helps bring a little cred to him to try squeeze a few extra dollars from one of the euro leagues when gets released. Also gives him good conditioning while allowing him to skip the euro training, which typically start earlier. I have a few buddies where these similar invites helped them open a few doors.

Eyes/Ice, i said nothing about a roster spot. It's useless.

I was trying to point out that if a PTO player is a firm “no way” at camp, the Flyers coaches aren’t obligated to play him in preseason or continue to watch him closely or even bring him back to camp day after day of cuts. I don’t see any reason to complain about this. It’s no big deal.

Your guess is probably as good as mine. Everyone just needs to relax.

Not a big deal, just July and something to complain about.

The guy was toast two years ago. What's the point of giving him a PTO? It's just potentially another bum that could be part of a non competitive 4th line.
Same thing with Prosser, Fletcher wasting time with players who can't play as favors.

Because no team has used a PTO and then not signed the player ever..

Maybe they want him in the ahl to help protect the prized youngsters; especially if say Gabriel gets the 13th fwd spot.

They've gone 30 some odd pages about Justin Braun. It's early afternoon, I'm surprised it hasn't gone 10+ yet.

I'm going to pretend I didn't see the second part of this post. So I can go back to being happy.

That is some pretty minuscule potential.

Well, I like what Yeo had to say. Good read Bill.

Sounds like he really knows what he wants on the PK as well from his defense. He talk a lot about AV’s system.

Yep, really great piece by Bill. I read it twice. I can’t remember the last time I read any article twice. Must be...It’s great, and it’s unfortunately July.

Considering the number of prospects in college, I wouldn't be shocked if there are a few more of these done in order to have the right number of warm bodies in camp.

The Stewart PTO in and of itself is a non-story. Really nothing wrong with it. Only thing I'm concerned about in camp is I want the NHL team identified as quickly as possible and whittle down to the last few spots. New coach and new system. I want the team playing together as much as possible without overplaying anyone so they can hit the ground running when the season starts.

Love to hear yeos input on how he coached the Stanley cup champs to the worst record in the league a few short months before they won it

Prosser played 31 AHL games and 15 NHL games as a defenseman last season.

Not the same as Stewart who was in England.

Didn’t you hear that Tampa is bringing in Michael Rupp who wants to get back into it? This sort of thing happens all the time with the best teams
