If has 2 points in 9 games and the Sabres are below .500, we just wasted more time. Make trades this summer and don't count on another 19 year old to save the season

Right now, I think it would just mean that he's the best of some pretty mediocre RW options. He would have to beat out Tage and a bunch of LW's. I don't think he'll spend the year up here, because it's probably not best for him, but I like the idea of going into camp with an open competition.

Depends on how he gets those points. If he's driving the play, driving possession, scoring goals and primary assists, holding up against men and not being driven off the puck, I think it's very hard to send him back. I doubt he does that this year, but I'm willing to keep an open mind. If he does, good for Dylan, good for Buffalo.

If he wins the job and he looks really good, then that's good for all involved. If he looks ok, but better than Sheary or Vesey at RW, and we choose him out of necessity, that's bad. Bad for his development, bad for the team, and bad for the standings. I think he's gonna look like Reinhart did. He's gonna get run over a bunch

I think once he goes back to Juniors, he can't be called back up unless on an emergency basis. I think the Sabres had that issue with Guhle a few years back.

Everybody whiffs. Cozens doesn't necessarily require 'elite' IQ, but the game he plays, the way he plays it, his effectiveness in both zones as a possession center, he can't have low IQ. He just can't.
