No .. this is not a good idea we did this with a prospect I forgot his name and it destroyed his career

Grigorenko?

Him not being able to skate well is what killed him

The fact he gets to be free for “ killing” someone and a teacher gets 20 years for making a 14 years old dream is ridiculous

Gotta say, I’ve liked Botts’ moves so far. Bulked up Rochester. Jimmy V is a solid middle 6 pickup. Mojo is the kind of guy folks were asking for.
Millsie is a good blueline pickup on a reasonable contract. I can’t believe Nylander landed what he did in the trade. And I’m under the impression he’s waiting out the best deal for Risto.
And Cozens was a guy I said I’d be happy with the Sabres drafting. This might be the three gin and tonics talking, but we could compete for a spot...

See? You went too far and overplayed your hand...

But don’t think for a second that I won’t say that very thing here in the event the Sabres squeak into the playoffs.

We rushed him all because he “looked good” and then we did That circus act we benched him and then I believe Christmas time we sent him to the Remparts

But that’s not the best part the ramparts traded Kucherov because they didn’t think he was that good and they thought Grigorenko was better Lmao

Good stuff

Not quite. We rushed him because we had a decent team with poopty centers, and we deluded ourselves into believing he would improve despite looking bad. He never really looked good. I think that was the year we coaxed Jochen out of retirement

I Remember Buffalo reporters saying he looked like Mario Lemieux when he was practicing

We took it to a whole new level with him

So, basically he was pushed into a role he wasn't (and never would be) ready for because of a need?

And then they tried to stuff him in Roch on a "conditioning stint" and the league said no. If Cozens looks like poop, he won't be here. I'm confident of that. But if they keep him for a month or two and use him as a RW and they don't shoehorn him into 2C, it won't destroy his development path as you're saying

I would rather him dominate the juniors league get bigger and obviously work on things the Sabres are going to tell him to
And take over the world jrs

If the sabres want to bring him up the last six games of the season I’m down for that

Or playoffs

I understand that but it’s pretty pointless to have him come back right when he comes back from his injury I don’t want some jack ass on another team targeting his hand

What are you talking about we had two of the top 20 centers in the league with Roy and Connolly.

But there was no mistaking him on the ice. The gifted ones always catch your eye. This is an extreme parallel, but as Grigorenko glided along the ice, it reminded me of the first time I saw Mario Lemieux, a big man who skated so effortlessly he barely seemed to be trying.

Has this ever happened before? A player targeting another players previous injury.

It’s a thumb so you’d have to go well out of your way to do it. Not to mention it would be intentional and the league would take huge issue with that whole intent to injure thing.

Ass hole players do this all the time it gets players off their game because they’re thinking about getting another injury
