Kalas was great. When I was a kid playing Little League baseball in Gibbstown he attended our banquet. Told stories, signed autographs, had a questions and answers session. He was really a great guy to us kids.

He literally had no chance of making much more money, please stop saying this is a good contract for the team, NAK had zero leverage, this same contract is given out to almost all 14/15th forwards.

This is about as good as you can do with NAK. The Flyers locked him in for just a year on a two way.
