I don't usually put my drink down unless i'm sitting somewhere or working in the garage. I was drugged once at a bar when I was 19. Nothing came of it except I was a hot mess but it was a good lesson. - golfingsince
That happened to me too. The hangover was worse than a weekend in Vegas. |

Some very interesting spread sheets about additions and subtractions team made this off season
https://public.tableau.com/profile/kyle.young#!/vizhome/NHL2019FreeAgencyWARTracker/WARGARGainedLostWithGoalies
Van has the highest net "WAR" that excludes goalies because they are the biggest single game breaker pretty much. FLA and CHI have highest because they signed Bob and Lehner.
Sorry it won't let me link it. Copy and paste |

Perhaps more important is the roster spots they're filling were previously measured by "WBR" |

Sean Tierney
Looking through EDM's roster to do my next lineup projection and I honestly have no idea what they're up to. What a bizarre team built around the game's biggest star and a time-share in net
Sean Tierney
they probably need two top-six forwards, 3 bottom-six forwards, two top-four defensemen, depth defensemen, and a starting goalie.

If LE's contract ends up getting ripped up (I could never see that happening btw) I know he can't sign with another NHL team but is there any cap/recapture penalties? - canuckfan069
I am sure there would be, There is still some on NJ from ripping up Kovalchucks and on LA's from ripping up Richards'
Canucks have paid out 27 million in 3 years and only absorbed 18 million worth of Cap Hits
Knowing the NHL, That 9 million has to be accounted for somewhere. My feeling would be 1.5 million times 6 years |

Canucks can certainly help with the bottom-six forwards and JB's garage sale is coming up soon. - YeOldTimer

Saw an article by someone, can't find it, can't remember who wrote it.
It was saying that they except 6 different rookies to score 50 plus points this season. It has happened once in the past little while. Normally only about 3 or 4 score 50 plus points. Quite a few sitting in the 40's if they don't.
Kakko?
Hughes?
Our Hughes?
Glass?
Who else.
Svechnikov, Kotkaniemi, Tkachuk didn't break 50 last season. - manvanfan
Byram maybe.

I have no idea the last time a 18 year old rookie hit 50 points in his first NHL season. Dahlen didn't do it last season. |

I can't find answer anywhere but if Vancouver makes a claim on someone on the waiver wire and is awarded the claim. How long do they have to send someone else down? |

It likely depends on how many roster spots you have open. If none, you probably submit a name to go on waivers with your claim and it happens simultaneously. |

Once the waiver award of rights is confirmed within 24hrs is what I remember if roster is full.
However, after signing BB & Goldy (no arb rights) brings them to 47/50 contracts. That is until July 1 2020.
You'd think they want to keep those 3 contracts open for NCAA & European free agents or perhaps one of their drafted players. Possibility of Tryamkin coming too. |

You have an entire season to worry about contract spots. |
