Although I agree with you, your statement is a bit misleading, he scored 135 points in 185 games 0.73 PPG, before he signed. Most guys who miss almost half the season holding out don’t do well when they come back.
Dubas was dumb to cave on that deal. Hopefully Benning stays the course and Boeser bets on himself with a two year deal. - Pacificgem
Why is he dumb to cave on that deal? .73 ppg is about 60 points a season. With inflation the 100K per point benchmark that used to be used is probably a bit higher than that. He's an early 20 year old that should improve.
I don't really know what you found misleading about my statement. |

No idea how that would impact our cap |

I’d say he did and the Canucks weren’t in them - Pacificgem
I think if the Canucks make the playoffs we lose 4-1. Isn’t that better than 4-0? Schenn is a POS who doesn’t care about winning. This was a tax savings move. He should play hockey in the Caymens |

“Latest Ericksson rumblings. DAL still seems to be the potential landing spot. Hanzal + Comeau or Hanzal + Cogliano. Hanzal would be bought out and the other player would be waived - if not traded.”
Someone I’ve never heard of on Twitter. - Pacificgem
Pretty sure we wouldn't be able to buy out Hanzal. No more buyouts with the Spooner buyout and we don't have players going to arbitration so no second window. |

Hasn't the window for buyouts closed? Hanzal would probably have to spend the year on LTIR instead, right? I assume that also takes up one of the 50 NHL contract spots, plus the second guy as well if they can't trade him. |

What a (frank)ing moron. Did he not watch the playoffs? - CanuckDon
I don't know where the tweet is about it. Basically, TG saw him as a depth option and he wanted a better opportunity. Unhappy with his usage here in Van. |

Don't have another buyout window so Hanzal clearly wouldn't be able to be bought out by the Canucks but possible he does go on LTIR for the season because of his back problem. |

He was asked to be tough and couldn't handle it. That's sounds like Trymakin all over again. |

We can survive without Brock. Let him sit if his agent isn’t being reasonable. We no longer have one top 6 winger - CanuckDon
Aquilini wants asses in those seats. Brock will be signed. |

Yup, this summer he's selling that we've turned the corner. We'll see.
It's a better team, camp should be interesting. |

lol he may have played a few in reg season but not one in the PO's I think you are correct. I think you need a certain number or reg season games to qualify for the cup ring too no? |

I think the teams are responsible for the rings, they give them to whoever they want. |

Possibly. I have Trent Hunter and Jesse Wallin at my Arena a fair bit and Hunter told me the Kings wouldn't give him a cup ring from 2012 as he didn't play over 40 regular season games something to that Effect. But Wallin did get a ring and played very few reg season games with DET. Weird. |
