That or riding the bus, which i'm sure he's not too hip on. - VanHockeyGuy
I have a feeling he gets buried (same way gagner was loaned to the marlies) to Texas stars to be with his family who reportedly moved back there. 1.5 asv in savings for the canucks for him to be in the AHL |

If you want to trade Lui, you’ll have to throw in a little sugar. But I don’t think they have an appetite to do that. Lui will be back, and playing on the wing with fitness rock star Jay Beags. - 1970vintage
The point is everyone is getting worked up over nothing again , same as the Lucic trade.
Benning was on the radio the day after the Ferland signing talking about what Jake means to the team. It was all positive and did not have one suggestion about looking at moving him. He likes his speed .

No “actual” Leaf fan would think that, and the millennial crowd is too young to even know who the legion of doom is (both the comic/cartoon and the Flyers line). It’s the media! When in doubt, blame the media. - 1970vintage
I dunno man. The hysteria posts I read were not from the media, just ignorant whiny leaf fans looking to complain about something. |

He’s still an NHL player, at least for now. They won’t demote him out of spite. Jim is too level headed for that. |

I really don't follow too many media types except RD, McKenzie etc. |

They were only upset because they spent $400 on Nylander jerseys with #29. Now that Willie has said he will pay for fans to get the number changed they will calm down.
Or were you suggesting Willie is committing some sin by using Leaf great Eric Lindros’ old number? - 1970vintage
I think Joe Sakic wore 88 when he broke into the NHL, probably the best 88 ever. |

Benning says a lot of poop and the opposite actually happens, I don’t know why you put so much faith in what he says. |

I have heard Benning comment directly about him . He has said over and over we will look at options about what is best for Loui and the Team |

Yeah, and I believe the best thing for the team will be to keep Lui another year at least. |

Benning put himself in a really difficult situation with Lou’s contract, best to keep him and use him in the bottom six or demote him. |

If Jim can move him without giving up a young player, or draft pick, and without bringing back a “Lucic”, he will forever be praised by Pom-pommers and Negative-Nancy’s alike. |

I simply stated Benning says a lot of poop, he’s not believable, which has been proven, not unlike poophawk |
