Holland has a plan, he didn't want to lock himself into long term deals when he knows next off-season he has over $24 million in space without any trades...I'm glad he didn't go after the overpayed guys...

There are some overpaid bottomline guys that comes of the books, but the holes in the roster remains. They could have shreded more salary and the situation with Puljujarvi still isnt resolved. Kenny better start making some moves soon.

I can't stand the Oilers but let's be honest, here. What were they supposed to do? Holland inherited a dumpster fire and it is going to take more than a single off-season to fix it. They have no cap to bring in any big names and tons of guys that don't have a lot of value on the trade market. I agree the Oilers haven't done a whole lot to fix their team but Holland has to work with the hand he was dealt, and that hand is poop.

I'm not trying to say the Oilers have had a good off-season because they haven't, I'm just saying I don't understand how anyone could expect them to given the circumstances.

Vegas' offseason thus far hasn't been particularly great.

The Karlsson deal is the one positive aspect.
