The almighty genius Kyle Dumbazz's biggest splash this off season was at the neighbourhood YMCA

When Muzzin walks and Dubas has to give Barrie a huge number to retain, the team is back at scratch. I get the move for a dman but somebody with term made a lot more sense. Digging his own grave |

The Leafs might be okay ef Dubas has decided to use this as a transition year in order to rebalance his CAP situation. If Marner settles on $11m. the Leafs will be paying $40m to their top 4 paid players. All of them forwards,
So, 50% of the CAP has been precommitted to four skaters. Next year every Leaf DMan, except for Reilly, is either a UFA or RFA. Next year is when this year's CAP problem becomes a crisis.
But, a crisis can also be an opportunity and perhaps Dubas is just doing his best to muddle through this coming year and next summer he will make some moves to add an elite Dman on a long term basis.
But I think he is okay this year. |

Say, Connor and Laine, have you seen them yet?
Uh but they're so spaced out, B-B-B-Bergy and the Jets
Oh but they're weird and they're wonderful
Oh Bergy he's really keen
He's got electric boots, a mohair suit
You know I read it in a magazine
B-B-B-Bergy and the Jets
Hey kids, plug into the faithless
Maybe they're blinded
But Bergy makes them ageless
We shall survive, let us take ourselves along

Lol. Acquired as 50+pt defenseman. Signed two young productive wingers for cheap for 3 and 4 years. Rid the leafs of the Marleau salary.
What did the Houdini of gms do? By the way Houdini was an escape artist, not a magician - Njuice
Sadly, the leafs wont win a cup as long as Dubas is there |

So you replaced Gardiner's production with an even worse Dman defensively? That's a downgrade or a lateral move AT BEST. You lost the only player on that roster that plays like they have a nut sack in Kadri who is a #2 centre (Great move for the Avs, Kerfoot also a downgrade) you then replaced Brown your best PKer with an old turd in Spezza and an even bigger plug than Brown in Shore plus you gave away your first AGAIN
Oh ya and Ceci, the slow, bottom paring Dman that Ottawa has been trying to unload for years now. Congrats on the sexx..I guess..?
Bergy is the Houdini of GMs because he was able to escape from multiple bad players/contracts/picks from the previous administration even his own wrongdoings in Subban's awful contract. He stole Domi for Floatchenyuk and then turned Patches into Tuna, the great Nick Suzuki, stud Dman Norlinder and defensive stalwart Leguerrier. What a haul! Bergy is also a magician too however - Komisaurus Rex

Bergdini...that's a good one. I love the clip, it says it all. Facts are.... he's been there for 7 years. What did he accomplish, results wise? It will be a true Price miracle if we even do the playoffs this year. Time for a little shake up at the 7th floor... Geoffrey, where are you... whhheeere are you? I know Bargain looks strong, even intimidating with those 22 inches arms. But... Put those damn pants please... You're suppose to be the boss, remember! There are fans out there that want this team to be competitive... Look at Shero, look at Gorton... Peine perdue |
