He was the better player ..

We should go back in time and look at the message board the last preseason game I guarantee you everyone says Nylander made the team

But that’s the past

And then Nylander was outperformed by a 7th round pick who won AHL player of the month in October. Yeah, Nylander got a raw deal in the preseason, I agree. But rather than overcome it, he pouted.

You say that Casey Mittelstadt had everything handed to him on a platter, but you make excuses for Nylander?

But nylander won the job .. and tage got Special treatment

Casey was already guaranteed a roster spot

Here’s an article about how Thompson and Nylander we’re both making cases for a roster spot to start the season.

Saying one got screwed is just revisionist

Nylander is a much better center than mitts.

To my untrained eye, I thought Nylander was the superior player. I said then and I say now he should have made the team over TT. But he went to Roch and underperformed - again - and didn't put up any fight

Either way to go to the ahl and give that crappy performance proves he wasn’t ready

I agree. Life is unfair.

Nylander pouted his way to playing with Patrick Kane. Good for him. I hope Jokiharju is better

If he plays with Kane he will be a 15-20 goal scorer if not more

He is when you get a number one defenseman and Low calling is a number two

Probably go down as one of the best trades in sabres history when it’s all over with

Nylander will need talent around him to ever be successful

He doesn’t play hard enough to generate anything on his own

He’s most likely going to be a 70 point player with kane

I doubt that. But with Kane maybe. Lots of secondary assists though probably

My fear is he will out play Larsson and sobotka

Get sent to Rochester and bail to Europe

WGR had a guy on who is a Finish reporter & watches that league

He thinks Routsalainen needs another year of development before he’s NHL ready anyways

So if he does go back to Finland for another season, that’s not necessarily a bad thing

You can’t be a hater nylander didn’t work out here but Chicago always gets the best out of their players and turns them into Stars or “players”

From what little I saw at development camp, he doesn't have an NHL wrist shot

I think you’re going to be surprised when Dylan Strome crashes back to earth

His actual goal total well exceeded his expected goals

Not a troll just a person that has Strong opinions and likes to express them ..

Casey could be a top 10 player in the nhl but he needs to do the work right now he has been given everything on the SilverPlatter can you honestly say he earned it ?

Just like tage did nothing in the Preseason and nylander was the “star” but he got a roster spot just because of the trade

What happened to earning your spot ?
But in this Organization you could suck and still be rewarded

Exhibit A

Hopefully that ends this year and you have to earn your spot I don’t care who you are

- gerbe75pts

Tage and Alex put up the same number of points. Tage was clearly the better RW.

Why would strome come crushing down he’s with his buddy I don’t see that happening

It’s the number one reason why Chicago trade for him

Kind of like how a 36 year old Pominville was on pace for 25 with Eichel yet we had to pay a winger $9M over 8 years to play with him who had the best shooting percentage of his career in a contract year

You mean when Pomminville was on pace for 25 with Eichel *and Skinner*?

Or are you really going to pretend Skinner had 0 to do with that line being awesome?

I have better playmaking ability then Skinner. Guy scores 40 goals and still barely cracks 60 points. Skinner makes nobody but himself better. Unless one of his shots goes off Pominvilles ankle
