Yeah that’s common knowledge I said that 2 years ago he had the power everyone threw me into the fire ..

But that could have easily sent him to the ahl for a wake up call game 15

Well, one would logically think that he likes:
Montour, Jokiharju, Mitts, & Cozens as long term parts as well
Miller, Johansson & Vesey at least short term
That’s half the roster

Goalies are a question
As are most of the other young prospects

And i think there’s a handful of guys we can also be pretty sure he’d like to get rid of Sobatka & Okposo if possible

And i doubt he cares much one way or the other for Sheary, Hunwick & Nelson

I really don’t think there’s too many guys he doesn’t have a good idea about

And put Girgensons in as 2nd line center. Maybe he wasn’t ready for 2nd line duty. But at 15 games we were in the mix and he was the best option we had.

Well his assumed value did land a top 4 nhl defenseman. I hope he thrives in Chicago, he’s a fun player to watch.

I’m sorry but wether he liked it or not that attitude just plan sucks. When I played hockey as a young man I got sent down over a goalie many people said I was better than. I worked my ass off played to the best my ability and when the higher team went to states they brought me in as a third goalie. You know what the only game we won was the game I played in. So he can suck it.

And then Nylander was outperformed by a 7th round pick who won AHL player of the month in October. Yeah, Nylander got a raw deal in the preseason, I agree. But rather than overcome it, he pouted.

put up decent points last year, despite losing minutes and PP time
3 years remaining at a comfortable salary
the sudden surplus of RD

In another year, his value is more likely to go down than up. There's very little upside to waiting.

but it’s not like a team that likes who he is as a player will stop liking him

Better team around him, and presumably better coaching

If we trade him now, that’s fine as long as we get a good return
