Mantha and AA

Risto
McCabe
Sheary (retained)
Top 10 protected first
Thompson

- ImThatGuy

heard nelson coming back with aa or mantha in a big trade

who knows what is going on, I know we signed our draft pick and he can play center or wing

I still feel the time is to dump some scrubs instead of big trades

esp with the housley being clueless still in the chatter of the sabres front office

And statistically 2OA has a lesser chance of busting, thus having a higher rating. Statistics!!!

- Wetbandit1

and 5,7,9 are the best value. With this included blended stats through 2018

I’ve been saying that I’m ok keeping Risto
Demand for top4 RH defensemen is never gonna go away

Is the guy we signed today even going to be ready to play to start the season? And even if he is healthy enough will he be good enough?

I think we should be trying to do both
Dump some dead weight
But still try to improve on what we’ve got

Cut him some slack. He lost like 50 lbs of buffalo meat fording the river, he ran out of bullets, and half of his party died of dysentery from bad berries while traversing the Yukon trail. Tough to gain weight

Why is that?

U think the demand for RH defensemen is gonna fade?

Well we all seem to have a pretty good idea,
or so we think

Besides Risto,
who do u think Botts might not “know” about?

Obvious reasons.

Healthy
put up decent points last year, despite losing minutes and PP time
3 years remaining at a comfortable salary
the sudden surplus of RD

In another year, his value is more likely to go down than up. There's very little upside to waiting.

“You always want your players to come in and have that belief and we’re certainly going to give him an opportunity,” said Botterill. “I’ve been on record saying there are maybe one or two, maybe three players that will step in and play in the National Hockey League this year. Probably the best thing for any player is to go back to junior and have that other year of development, but we’ll see how the summer goes. Dylan is a very good athlete, has great size and a great frame, but he certainly has to get stronger and it is certainly a big jump to the National Hockey League from junior.”

And if you listen to a very loud minority here, Skinner does too, the (frank)ing quitter.

You got the label right, “quitter”. But you for got to post in all caps with at least half a dozen exclamation points.

QUITTER!!!!!

Extra credit is awarded for calling him “JEFFY”, as well.

We signed one of those too in that roustolinene guy or whatever. Is there any chance he is more than a sideshow player

I hope he spends the year there, and after the season he plays in the playoffs with the Amerks. If he has a good showing there, maybe he makes the team next year. Hopefully we can have some success this year so he isn't pressured into starting 2020 with the Sabres if he isn't ready
