It's a tough game. I know I'd get obsessive with perfecting it so I just stay away from it. Sometimes its a better option

For me it's a social thing, I've met a lot of great people through golf, however, I'm an ultra competitive guy, if I do something, I do it well or I die trying.

So I saw just to stay away from the sport early. I have way too many other things, adding golf would be insane.

Sounds like you need swing analysis and correction. Or just watch happy Gilmore a whole lot of times

I finally invested in a fitting 3 seasons ago and were set up with a set of Mizuno MP-5s and they have improved my game dramatically. Proximity to the pin is way better. You know what they say...if you can't make a 15 foot put hit it closer lol.

Pretty much done spending cash on golf equipment. Gotta learn to hit what I have.

Got the driver-3 wood with shafts I finally like and a couple of old man high launch hybrids to replace my 3-4 irons...good to go lol

I get the clubs out of my head. I have a stiff shaft 2 & 5 iron. I focus on ball striking not shot shaping & roll with it however the round begins usually. Open mind for those rounds that are a scramble from start to finish. Takes 15+ rounds to see patterns & consistency come around. Always comes down to putting.

you know, it's sheep like you who will pull anything outta their ass to make chicken soup out of chicken poop. When you're trying to be competitive but you finish 2nd and 3rd last in the league you've actually failed at your job. If he was rebuilding, which he wasn't, he'd get a pass, but again, he wasn't.

Moving up is a product of failing, that's how the system is set up, when you fail you get access to the best kids on the planet, it's up to you to choose the best ones for your team. Most teams who finish near the bottom of the league pick great prospects/players.

After many years of trying, this summer Benning did a great job surrounding the kids they've picked with good players, so good on him!! Job well done.
