Huge drama over Ryan Biech. Man there's some ignorant characters on Twitter. It's not about being a Canucks fan, it's who can be the biggest tool, and there's lots to choose from. - VanHockeyGuy
That Chris Keehn is a massive tool and if thats you, youre a massive tool.... |

Canucks can not buyout anyone else this year because the buyout window is closed. 48 Hrs after SC is won until June 30 th.
We do not have 2 or more players going to arbitration so we can not buy out any other players this year
I stand corrected
Anyways we will be cap compliant this year and next year we could buy out a contract if up against the cap. - VANTEL
I thought if you bought out a player during the buyout window you got access to the other buyout period. |

I've seen so many people that just hate on the Canucks on twitter. I really couldn't see myself as a fan of a team if I put that much hate into everything they do. |

The other buyout period is during arbitration but only if youre going to arbitration with players on your term... |

You need to have at least two players on arbitration , we only have 1 . Boeser does not have arbitration rights.
I am wrong again
It is teams with one or more arbitration contracts |

I am probably wrong on this, or It may have changed but I remember that if you used the first buyout period you were able to use another one later on. |

I thought that if you bought someone out in the first period that also gave you access to the other period. |

I havent been on social media much the last 2 weeks. From what I have seen, its blind hate vs pom pommers (both on here and other platforms) with little to no substance from either side. I'm not sure the civil war between canuck fans could handle more hysteria lol - Codes1087
As far as this platform goes on HB, I see a very small group of people who fit the blind hate description and the rest of the people here are a wide variety of opinions and positions from pro to con and everything in between. People who think it's split between two groups are way over generalizing and not paying attention.
There is always going to be that small group of blind haters. There will always be those fans who blindly support as well. One thing about the haters,,,, when they constantly twist everything to fit their narrative and poop on supporters to no end,,, they are more or less playing the role of Maple Leaf trolls who were chased out of here. It's like they simply picked up the torch when Makita chased out the blue and white.
I've never considered myself a pom pom so to speak. I've been quiet about my criticisms in recent years, but there have been many. If I'm going to be called a pom pom by people who relate more with rival fans who pat them on their back for ripping into supportive Canuck fans, I will not take objection to that projection. So be it.

You get placed in one category or the other depending on how you support Benning. You are only allowed to "love" or "hate" him. No in-between by the haters.
I'm considered a Pom pom'er but i've disliked quiet a few things Benning has done. |

Yup. I rag on them when they trade 1st round picks but get over it fairly quickly. Guy's like Taj feed on the negativity. |

The less they have to freak out about, the more they double down.

I'm wrong. I guess Van doesn't have another one. So I have the next current better idea if Van has to take a bad contract for Loui and can't buy them out this year.
Take 2 bad players back. Satir did say Comeau and/or Cogliano.
Basically shipping both to Utica saves Van an extra million than just Loui alone. |

I know I am on the list of Pom Pom guys and I have a list of things I don't like about Benning
I hate the Eriksson and Baertschi contracts. I don't like his choice for Weisbrod . There is more but there is a list

3.25 for 1 year for Burakovsky after a 25 point season. |

That is a good idea unless it conflicts with the amount of pros you can have on a Comet team at once ( not sure about the rule)

Yes and no. There are very few actual pom pommers and very few actual blind haters. If you cant back up anything to support whether you either hate or love every move they do, I would think you classify as one or the other. I personally dont care how anyone views this management and the decisions, as long as you can support your statements, I dont think most people care which way anyone leans. |

Yeah, I'm definitely in the middle. I'm neither pro nor against Benning. He has built a good pool of talent but we have done the poops to help that. He held on and tried to retool on the fly which is literally the dumbest thing in the world. I think he is going all in too soon but we can't just draft forever. Have to make moves at some point. If this back fires and we miss the playoffs. I don't think the damage will be as bad because we still have the young core. |
