I'll try and be more like Leafs fans in the future.

Canucks could start the season with LE no problem at all. They can paper Gaudette and Hughes to Utica, place Roussel on LTIR and immediately paper the two back to the Canucks. Good until Nov/Dec when Roussel returns. If they need to waive Shaller... big deal. By that time LE will play himself down to Utica... where I think he should start regardless of all this pu$$y footin around.

I don't consider it a problem. Send spare parts to Utica while they work on trimming the fat. A problem would be a situation where JB is forced to make a painful trade like Toronto did. Canucks don't have to do anything like that presently. Two seasons from now is a different story but a lot can happen between now and then.

Ya, like the Gm's in the league haven't seen how Loui has played for the past 3 seasons.
I am sure TG playing him in a top role, again, is going to fool them, into thinking he is good.

When Brock signs there will be a 25 man roster. LTIR or not Canucks need to demote or trade 2 men . That automatically means Canucks will have 6.2 -7 mil in Cap space.

When Goldy or if Goldy signs Canucks need to move one more man.

Nobody is going to dispute that. However, do you just want to eat his contract for 3 years or trade away valuable assets to make it disappear ?

Just about the only way to make that contract digestible for any team is to have him produce. That's not going to happen playing with Beagle and getting 38% OZ starts.

I don't think anybody is saying to gift him all the best ice time, just give him a chance to start the season. Don't pigeonhole him on the 4th line and expect him to be effective.

Same, he has had years of chances and now he can f off with his bonus money. Utica bound and hope I don't see that stupid looking face again. Why give him a 4th chance? He will not produce with anyone on the team.

I will be very surprised if he is a Canuck in October. He may be a Comet but I can not see a way he is playing for Green.

Other clubs have to eat their bad contracts and if I was a betting man I would say he will be in the AHL. You said the other day he may be loaned to the Dallas AHL club. You might be correct .

It would be stupid to bring him back a 4th time. One season was fine but at some point does Loui go hey I am $hittty? Maybe it's time. Loui has to know he sucks. He shouldn't have been in the NHL a year and a half into his contract but I guess we are gluttons for punishment.
