Much better to keep Marner and trade Nylander (when his value is back to normal).

Think of the Penguins with Crosby, Malkin and Staal.

People asked every year (and still do) what can you get for Malkin but the reality is, the team is better off keeping the better 2 of the 3 and bringing in a guy like Kessel further down the road when it's feasible.

Benning seems stuck in 2010. Not sure why, but I'd bet he told his scouts that he didn't want to pick Pettersson.

I'm not saying they have to trade him right now (his value is too low now anyway).

But next year, if Nylander has a good year, he for sure should be on the block especially when everybody on the blueline except Rielly is a UFA.
