You said 70 point centre so I assumed you were talking about last season, where he was a point a game. But yeah, all things being equal, he will be a point a game for his career after this next season. - GreatGigInTheSky
Last year he was over ppg.
dunno, I cant see into the future. But I would anticipate he will or will be very close to it for the next few years for sure. |

SS had two plus seasons of 90+ pts.
I think SS leads AM by 30 pts the 1st three years.
But PPG they are almost exact. - Fakepartofme
Yup. I think that makes them pretty good comps.

AM rookie season was better, but wasn't SS playing like 10 mins a night under a terrible coach in his rookie year? SS year 2 and 3 were clearly ahead of AM - BestRapperAlive
Agreed
And yes if I recall he wasnt getting much ice time....although my memory isnt great.
I think he had under 50pts his rookie year.
AM's was great! |

SS GP (243) G (119) A (113) PTS (232)
AM GP (212) G (111) A (94) PTS (205)
very very comparable. - The Law
I'd even say extremely comparable! |

Will your power point show how SS had (2) 90+ point seasons at that age, during a lower scoring era? Then SS scored 60 goals in year 4.
I'm not saying AM can't be better than SS, I just think it's premature to say that now. - BestRapperAlive
What he did in yr 4 isn't really relative bc how the (frank) do we know what AM will do next year?
I'm not saying he will be better than SS ...never did. We were discussing how teams and agents come up with valuations on these players at the time of negotiations. Both sides get their list of comps put together. And AM's first 3 years compare really well to SS's first 3 years.

I was just talking goals, very comparable as I was stating earlier.
Now ( year 4 ) Stammer scores 60, lets hope AM has that up his sleeve. |

If we make round 2 of the playoffs, I don't care if AM score 5 goals all year.
Don't give 2 (frank)s about personal accomplishments, real hockey starts when the playoffs start.

David Ferris
Was part of Orr's agency for a number of years, but had some sort of falling out. Started his own agency which failed in short order. Promptly started a 2nd agency (current). Brought Hall and Bogosian over on previously signed deals.
Below are the major contracts he's negotiated since starting his own shop.
Ferris/Andreas Athanasiou
1) Bob McKenzieVerified account @TSNBobMcKenzie
DET's standing offer on a two-year deal for AA has an AAV of $1.9M.
2) Other reports also state a 1-year offer of $1.25M has been made.
3) AA declines, moves to Switzerland and threatens to sign with a KHL team for $2.5M
4) AA signs for 1-year $1.387M (minus~$150k for missing 20 days of the season)
5) AA signs for a reasonable 2 x $3M. rumors are yzerman wants to move AA.
David Ferris/josh andersson
1) Ferris states publicly that josh Anderson is offered a 3-year less than $1.9M/year deal
2) Anderson declines and misses all of training camp. Threatens to sign in Switzerland where salaries generally max out at $500K.
3) Anderson signs for 3 years @ 1.85M/year right before the season.
David Ferris/tobias reider
1) Ferris states publicly he wants $2.5M/year for 2 years for Reider and that the coyotes are offering $2.2M.
2) Reider declines and misses all of training camp. Ferris publicly states he is mulling over a couple of KHL offers.
3) Reider signs right before training camp for $2.25M.
4) Coyotes trade reider to LA. The Kings do not offer reider a qualifying offer.
5) The only GM willing to work with Ferris is Chiarelli. Rieder signs with Edmonton for $2M.
6) Oilers do not offer rieder a qualifying offer.
Ferris/Bennett
1) September 5, 2017
Darren Dreger:
Still a sizable gap in contract talks between the Flames and Sam Bennett. Possibility Bennett heads overseas until a deal in Calgary is done
2) September 7, 2017
Bennett signs for a modest 2 years, 1.95M/year |

3 years makes the most sense to me. Keeps the cap hit lower too.
Then sign him to 8 year deal after that. He’ll most likely be a leaf for most of career. - bryant
3 years is terrible, if there is a lockout Mitch could lose a years pay. |
