Leafs have so many minimum contracts that Dubas needs to qualify players for the e-draft. Depending on what Marner signs for they could run a 21-22 roster to make it more difficult.

Their farm team is in the same city, they could run with a 16 man roster and call guys up on game day, send them back down the same night etc. Only on road trips would they need to carry a full compliment.
