Who will be on the team this season?
Goldobin or Baertschi
Roussell or Leivo
Pearson or Miller
Beagle or Sutter - manvanfan

Sad thing is 4 of those players will be on the top 6. |

It would probably be of a shirtless Petey - VANTEL

Everyone’s first two picks always look good, that’s why the teams picked them, it’s only been recently, because of excellent draft position and good choices, that they’ve actually been good as well as looked good. - Pacificgem
That’s generalizing & maybe 10-12 teams pick well in the 1st 2 rounds imo. The Boeser draft was solid picking late. |

No, I have a thing for creative players with high hockey IQs. Podkolzin hasn’t shown that IMO - but I admit he hasn’t really had an opportunity to... He played a max of like 14 or 15 games with each team he was on last year. Admittedly, extremely difficult to find chemistry with teammates & adjust to coaches systems/expectations in that short a period.
I love his compete level & of the 3 highly rated forwards I didn’t want (Caufield/Cozens being the others), he was the one I had the least problems with - ranked him in the late teens. I still think Hoglander has 1st line potential, and until Podkolzin shows me more vision/smarts, I think he’s a middle 6 high compete guy who will contribute secondary scoring. Love him for Bo. Highly doubt he ever meshes with Elias. - DrChristianTroy
Then, barring trades or FA, you would see the top 9 for '21 season to unfold as:
Hoglander EP Boeser
Miller Horvat Podkolzin
JV Gaudette Goldy\Lind |

Someone made this a week ago about Podkolzin from his WJC highlights. He is a very different player than he was playing in the u18s.
This kid is going to be better than anyone of us might have expected. Show's a much more rounded game playing with better players. - manvanfan
Thanks for sharing, this kid has a lot going for him. Great skater, nice hands, tenacious on the puck, tape to tape passing, I can see a lot of Pettersson and Boeser one timers....of course if they shoot and don’t play silly bugger.
Good video, nice change from the other stuff going on in here. |

That’s a young future roster. JB has done fine with options looking ahead. |

I fully expect Miller to put up career highs this season barring injury. He should get more opportunity than he has in the past, playing almost exclusively top 6 minutes. Last season he average just over 14 minutes per night and his career high is 17.
Also, he's in in his age 26 season which is a peak year for many forwards. In two years, he'll likely start to slide down the lineup if Podkolzin emerges. |

I wasn't hip to the Pod pick, then the scouting turnover? Who knows. |

Just trying to make sense of DT's projections. No idea what the roster will be. What else would you like to talk about? - NuckUp

Holy (frank) I just read James Tanner on Editor in Leaf. I didn't even know that place existed until I searched Marner because I read he had an offer sheet on the table that he hadn't signed.
He's even funnier there. The guy can't be (frank)ing serious. |

I doubt Hoglander jumps right onto the top line... I think that’s his skillset’s ceiling, but I think (hope) they try to find Pettersson a compatible/complimentary elite IQ/skill LW prior to his arrival.
_______ Pettersson Boeser
Podkolzin Horvat Madden
Hoglander Miller MacEwen
That middle 6 would offer plenty of secondary scoring while being a total b!tch to play against. Deep playoff potential IMO. |

A speedy playmaker LW for EP/BB. High IQ a must to compliment Petey. Your lines look realistic & still Lockwood & Lind to figure in maybe. |
