Fans can moan and groan all they want but reality is we are getting better, we were right there most of the year with poo, Hutton, biega and injury issues. Big question can marky and demko shine because we all know goaltending is huge.

All teams and different situations but look at the Penguins. They identified a few star players and there contracts look pretty awesome now but Pens have not had a first round pick in a long time they had to pay extra for. Swap in and out the spare parts all the time for a few cheaper ones. They won 3 cup.

Comes down to drafting in later rounds. JB is the man that has been best at that for Van in a very long time. Once they establish a core we could do whatever they want. Give the man a 3 year extension and let him work.
