Then Goldy should sign his qualifying offer and be thankful.

Goldy is trash, he'll be playing in Utica with Pu$$y Magnet.

Wife wants to next season. My apple tree hasn't even produced an Apple yet. Last year at this time when we moved in, there was probably 500 or more on the tree. Had a lot more rain last season though.

They water them.

Actually it's easier to grow them in drier places because they're less susceptible to fruit burst if they get too much water while the fruit is ripening.

My cherry tree is growing well but I transplanted it about 6 weeks ago. No fruit until next year.

It would have been real nice if I could use the water from the Red River since it's a stones through away but no it kills everything instead. If the guy could have put in a well, I would water my grass all the time.

I'd say you should water that tree thoroughly every time it doesn't rain for a week in the summer. Water it at night so the water doesn't evaporate as quickly and gets down to the roots.

Kevin Labanc signed for $1 million. 56 points last year and he signs for a million dollars

Wilson is a shady GM, I’d bet that he has an under the table agreement with him for a larger extension next year.

There is something wrong in posting a statement like that in a thread populated by people from coastal BC. Inappropriate.

Just read a really dumb article on the Athletic about UFA signings generally being overpaid. The author, Dom Luszczyszyn, who for the most part puts out decent articles really lost the plot.

He references that 69% of UFA deals signed end up with a traded or bought out player which is interesting. But then follows up that the appropriate value for Myers would of been 3.1M over 5 years and that he is expected to only contribute 6 wins over his contract....

I'm all for advanced stats, but this makes no sense at all. First of all there is no consideration taken for the UFA market, Myers at 6M might be too rich but it is the reality of the market for a Defensman in 2019. Who else was available? What was the collective cap space available of interested teams?

Furthermore 6 wins over 5 years? He model must be seriously (frank)ed to come up with that number.

Myers replacing Pouliot/Biega might contribute 6 wins in next season let alone over 5 years.

Benning has proven to be generally incompetent the past 5 years but its hilarious to see some people bending over backwards to try and continue the #narrative.

Only shady if he bails out on it after leblanc disappoints.

I like the sharks but think they're (frank)ed and will be bottom of the Pacific in 2 years.

They would be smart to trade burns for a ransom now.

Benning incompetant? We needed to suck to get some high end young skill on this team because we had nothing when he took over.

Any other GM generally prove them self incompetent? The Milbury Trophy

Maybe you have believed a few too many of these articles over the years.

In 5 years he has taken this team from an old core which half refused to leave. A prospect pool with one prospect in it. No luck in the draft lottery.

To a team with a new core of young talent, a prospect pool that was ranked top 3 last year and is still top 10 even after the graduation of a few players. Done that with less draft picks then a lot of teams.

He seems to get the respect of other NHL GM's and some of the better hockey minds around the game.

Yet when the media said Van fans can't handle a rebuild and the fans told them they could. Some fans have and others.... Well they have needed their hand held by the club and complained at every turn.

Three in 6 years and a sh*t-load of bad contracts.

At least they have cap space to play with.

Show me a team that has been one of the worst in the league for 5 years and I'll show you a new young core.

3/4's of the league would love to have our fanbase.
It's only the delusional and ignorant that can't recognize that Benning's failed through his tenure but has improved to the point where he actually made the team better this year.
