These "advanced" stats that you love so much are just fundamentally flawed.
You just can't see that because you don't know very much about hockey.
So people love Crouse for reasons you can't determine.
The Coyotes were at one time full of promise with an abundance of prospects. But as a result of poor scouting and / or poor development and a GM who gets ripped off a lot in trades, they have gone from a young team full of promise to an elderly team that hasn't won anything. Hell they haven't even got to the dance.
Chayka is just not a good GM. Of course, you will never admit that. Drafting has been horrible and his attempts at trading have significantly weakened the team.
But yeah ... he's young (was young) and he likes math.
