The media is definitely ridiculous. We are so desperate for a win that we cling to a free agent signing like it’s a trophy. Imagine (you will need a really good imagination ) how bad it will be if the Leafs are ever successful in the playoffs!

My man, theres a TREMENDOUS amount of pressure on the Leaf brass, and they are actively making their roster better. Whether they win the cup or not with this regime remains to be seen, but they're certainly building to run for it.

The leafs have too much talent to not win sooner or later, their biggest issue is Tampa is as good

What am I missing with this post? I don't get it

Like most of his posts I’ve seen. Rarely if ever make sense and if they do they’re completely moronic. He sure is consistent I’ll give him that.

Kind of along the same lines as the Marner offer sheet crap, don't you think? Gets a tad redundant after while. Like day after day.

Actually not at all like that but Islander fans have to stop throwing those offer sheet rumors out there. I’ll let them know for you.

They’re not a complete team and so top heavy in salary especially if they sign Marner I honestly don’t think they’ll ever win the cup. With this team of course is what I mean. They’ll never fill their backend with any real talent because they’ll never have the salary to do so and they’ll never draft any decent, cheap, back end help because they’ll be a playoff team. They’re the epitome of a team that is stuck imo. I also believe Babcock is going to start getting flamed by the media. That began last season and should continue. Guy is overrated.

Offer sheets are as common as Halley’s Comet sightings. And we just had one from Montreal, so now we wait another 75 years (had to look that one up ) 😂

Any similarities to your team perhaps? Go rinse your mouth out. Something brown in both corners.

We have to stop upsetting Leaf fans with all of these offer sheet rumors. You saw what happened when Tavares got booed last season. There’s not enough tissues in Canada to handle this.

Actually not at all. We have excellent depth on the back end and prospects almost ready to take the next step. We need scoring. That’s easier to come by along with hopefully Wahlstrom and Koivula contributing. Our coach is far from overrated he deserves any acknowledgement he gets which just about any, single, hockey fan with half a brain in their head could attest too.

So not really any similarities at all. Like pretty much the exact opposite of the Leafs situation.

We have lots of tissues here. We just use them for wiping up other sticky messes.

Actually not really. Our D is stacked and our coach knows how to get guys to play a system. Actually we should swap some players - would help us both out. We need guys up front and you could use some better D men. Don’t like the douchey tone though...

Too many high end contracts does make it hard, tampa drafted headman so that's huge for them. Losing kadri weakened them at center and their goalie isnt a world beater either

What if we ask nicely? I agree that if not this year, sometime soon the Leafs need to swap out some forwards for defenders. I hope for a trade like the Raptors made that kind of comes out of the blue. There haven’t been many massive shocking trades in the NHL for a couple seasons.

I gotta think Koivula makes this team. He's been a beast

I like Andersson but he seems to have a problem staying healthy when he’s needed. I also believe losing Kadri is going to hurt them even with their center depth. Would’ve liked him.

If they don't address 3c I think casey moves up and fritz starts at 4c. Koivula is close but I think he starts in the bridge
