Not sure what an AHL backup has to do with Jarry. - Feds91Stammer
They just signed Emil Larmi to an entry level deal as well. 22y/o Finn who will be playing here next season. So that is 2 additional AHL deals this summer, plus all summer Jarry has been talked about as a trade piece. |

Maybe so but Jarry has little to no trade value. Maybe someone starts the year in the coast. |

WBS just signed Dustin Tokarski. I think this opens the door for Jarry to be moved. - chudd95

Show me his metrics away from Sid and Geno. I'm not saying he is terrible, but I do think he is a bit of a passenger. - MacPatty
A passenger doesn't elevate the possession and scoring of a line. If anything, Rust is the real passenger. He maintains production throughout the lineup, but never adds to any line. If there is a guy who should stay out of the top 6, it is him. He doesn't elevate anyone. He simply exists and maintains production. |

He could be thrown in a JJ deal...perhaps....for instance we're hearing things about the Ducks (which I dont really believe) but how is their goalie depth? I honestly have no clue about that. |

They have Gibson who is a stud and Ryan Miller. The also have Stolarz who is a similar level goalie prospect to Jarry imo. |

Who th F is Tokarski? I like Jarry and wouldn’t like to see him go but if it meant J.Johnson+Jarry to Anaheim you do it 10 X out of 10. |

I knew about Gibson and Miller obviously, So thats 3...2 in big league, one for the farm. Do they have a back up for farm yet? |

That is a pretty bad write up imo. It makes it seem like Galchenyuk isn’t a downgrade from Kessel. - Feds91Stammer

Jarry has to go through waivers so they are preparing to lose him and will try to offer him as a sweetener, but I don't think his value is high either. If the Pens liked him, they'd just move DeSmith.
Still, someone has to play in WBS. Toparski seems like a nice fit to sit in the runway and never play if there is an injury. |

Writing seems to be on the wall for Jarry. Cmon GMJR, watch this city have a parade after you get rid of Johnson |

Simon is okay player who is nice to have at $800k. He also scored 8 goals last year while getting a lot of time riding shotgun with elite offensive players. For a team that just traded away a point per game player...I'm not sure his roster spot should be safe.
He's like Marcel Goc to me, a guy with good analytics but just doesnt have enough scoring touch at the NHL level to truly be a top 6 guy... and isn't worth paying more than an ELC. |

i think Tokarski starts in WBS. Vellucci had him in Charlotte and must like him. i think Larmi backs him up and D'Orio goes to wheeling. Either Desmith or Jarry will probably be gone. |

I'd agree, everyone has a prospect like him, but you never know. Pens have restocked WBS just in case. |

Except for the fact that when he plays with Sid and Jake they score at a higher pace than any other top line combo. They also shoot significantly higher rates and gain scoring chances at a much higher rate. So he isn't "riding" shotgun if he is elevating his line to produce at the highest possible level of any combination we have. |
