Maybe a little harsh on the kid, neither he or dahlin ever played that many games. Bottom line is botts Bergland 2c experiment failed miserably. Forcing mitts into a 2c roll.

Regardless of “how in shape” he was botts failure to have a back up plan to the 2c didn’t help and house’s cluelessness behind the bench further hindered mitts.

Botts still hasn’t addressed the 2c, I am hoping for something more than what we see. I still want the 2 season vet in that roll. But that’s easier said than done...

In all honesty, I think that's the normal routine for most players in the summer. Wake up and meet with the trainer, then go home, shower, and do whatever in the afternoon.
