As of today, Zucker's contract just kicked in a 10 team list he can approve a trade too. I wonder if the Pens are on it....but I never understood why the Wild wanted to trade him anyway.

Tanev is not Hornqvist but if Horny is going to remain in the bottom 6, Tanev can do most of what Horny does at even strength.

Hornqvist could conceivably be upset about not playing top 6 anymore and willing to waive his NTC.

So we trade Horny for Zucker.... profit.

Nyquist signs for what I projected. Only $2M more than Tanev and the Pens will likely be shipping out someone to make room when he could have shipped out a player to make $6Mish in free space for an impact player.

Just be optimistic, and turn the TV off when the seasons over - It's a lot more enjoyable way to be a fan and watch hockey
