I like Tanev as a pick up for sure. We always want depth depth depth and he’s a great depth pickup for 2 ish mill. Opens up a possibility for a trade as well if the right trade comes along.

Is Tanev any good? I see 14 G last year on a cheap deal. That's Rust's range at 1/2 the price.

On Tanev: Solid pick up. Had 14g/29pt last year. Can skate and cycle, about even on possession. Hits, kills penalties. Even got a 5th place Selke vote. Can play both wings. Kind of a late bloomer so shouldn't be real expensive. Still only 27.

I have no definitive opinion on Tanev until I see the price/term...

I worry about only one year of decent production....but if this opens the door for a Rust/Johnson trade...now we're talkin!

Pensburgh did. Pens shaved 1.5 years of their average age from last year despite everyone coming back obviously being a year older.

I still like ZAR and Blueger...hopefully neither of those guys get the bump...

I don't love Benn as much of some of you, but I'd have been happy with him as a JJ replacement at only 2M/ 2years.
