Hey stop complaining about Jacob Trouba and Tyler Myers replacement. You are going to love Pionk and defend him the way you have defended Trouba. - TheUltimateJet
Less than 24hrs now till the Jets lock up Myers long term. No worries dude. |

How else are they shedding $5m in Cap as projected to be needed? - IonSabres
That is an easy question, we will buy out Kulikov. That alone would give us 3 million under the salary cap. And, if we are lucky a Jim Benning or Rutherford will come forward and overpay for a Byfuglien. |

We do need to shed every single UFA we currently have, though |

Tomorrow the jets will sign two depth players, one forward, one D, for a combined 3.5 million.
Stay tuned to learn who these players are. |

He’s been below the replacement level line more times in his career than he’s been above it in his career |

You could be right, if Chevy misses on Myers he will quickly shift gears to a much cheaper Phaneuf. |

Next season you will see how valuable Myers was as we saw how badly we missed Armia this past season. |

Great prediction! I think the Jets trade Ehlers tomorrow. I really like Ehlers but I think he will be part of a package to get an elite Center. |

Armia wasn’t missed at all. Coaching ability, luck, Enstrom, and Stastny were. |

Ask Adam Lowry and his “elite” Corsi how much Armia was missed.
The Jets also whiffed on Kessel. I was hoping we could get him. Him and Wheeler are best friends. Best friends play great together. |

Lowry was still a top level play driver... Armia was never above average in that regard.
Why do you pick these established fringe players to cheerlead? At least I pick guys still trying to make the jump. YOU MAKE NO SENSE TO ME AND ITS WONDERFUL |

My hopes for tomorrow re Jets:
- Resign Tyler Myers and Brandon Tanev
- deal M. Perreault+ (Comrie?) for a pick/prospect (s?)
- find a new home for D. Kulikov
- have to match an offer sheet (or not) in the next week
Other than that, think it will be a very quiet day in Jet land. Would be
very surprised by major deal, but who knows?

I agree with the Kulikov point, but otherwise your plan is:
-overpay for two replacement level player entering their decline year
-trade your best fix-it-Felix, chance generating linemate (Perreault) and your best empty calorie trading chip (Comrie) for no tangible return
-get forced into overpaying Kyle Connor |

Yea, we all have our hopes, a lot of different hopes.
- I 'm open to overpaying for Connor - and Tanev. They are two of the reasons love watching the team
- tangible return is a C or D
- we all have different ideas, but one thing we have in common, we love our Jets and hope for the best - but, like they say, "different strokes for different folks"
- Me? I'll be decimated if Connor, Tanev or Myers leave. Others have different opinions, and not saying they're wrong |

If all the rumours out there are true, which they might be given everything kicks off tomorrow morning, the Jets might well be fighting it out with Minny for dead last in the division |
