He is Finnish. When Fins play together, they play great. |

Stanley isn’t ready, Niku will be 10 minutes per night under Maurice, and Poolman will start out in the press box. Maurice for the win. - Rexypoo
And the Jets for the loss. |

I am hoping that the Jets also get Vatanen. Imagine pairings of Niku-Ristoalianen and Heinola-Vatanen. We could call them the Finnish Four! |

Safest place to stand the league will be in front of Jets net. Trouba gone, Chariot and Myers will be gone and Tanev will get overpaid even though I love the guy.
Soft will not describe how we play , maybe pillowy or plush?
Lots can happen in the next 3 months but every team in the division is improving or champs!

Never Ristolainen. He’s literally just Myers again. Same age and cap hit as at the time of the Kane deal, for a bottom pairing, PP only dman who can’t defend |

IF Florida signs both Bob and Panarin can see a trading partner for the Jets.
Some combination for M. Matheson and V. Trocheck. Panthers will want to shed salary. |

Pete, apologies for not being able to quote your response/question.
The team still needs to dump salary lol, not sure why this is so surprising?
But, here are the details that you requested:
A hockey roster consists of 23 signed players (12FW, 6D, 2G & 3 Press Box). According to Capfriendly, the Jets currently only have 14 players signed (7FW, 5D & 2G) with 23.9mil remaining in Cap space.
Laine, Connor & Copp = 19-20mil (this could be more)
2 Remaining FW = 2mil
Pionk = 3mil
3 Press Box = 3mil
Total to complete roster = 27-28mil which means we are 3-4mil over the Cap, therefore we need to dump a 4-5mil salary & replace that salary with a 1mil player. I did not include any sort of performance bonuses, which would have to be accounted for as well.
Hope that helps.

Pionk at 3 is a disaster. The guy is a 7D. QO or trade him |

100% agree, it’s gonna be a rough season. I hope we don’t give him more than 1.5, but I don’t trust Chevy in situations like this. He traded for him & he will now overpay him. |

Expect Connor, Laine and Copp (if not traded) to come in at $16-$16.5 or there will be offer sheets/holdouts.
Perreault and Kulikov traded in a package deal?
We need to come in around the $75-76M mark to make room for next year's potential RFA's.
But appreciate your speculation.

What team out there is going to take Perreault and Kulikov in a package deal? No one wants them at the salaries they are at. Only way they get taken is if a sweetener is added ala Jack Roslovic or a 2020 first rounder. We need to stop this fantasy talk. Only way we get value is by giving value. That is why it makes sense to trade a guy like Adam Lowry while he has some. |

Hey stop complaining about Jacob Trouba and Tyler Myers replacement. You are going to love Pionk and defend him the way you have defended Trouba. |

Myers is an awesome defensemen. You complain about Laine being with Little. Who has Myers played with? Kulikov? Morrow? The guys has had the worst defensive partners since being here.
Like Laine who plays great with Scheifele, so does Myers with Morrisey. |

Like I said, a package deal, you add on, or don't you understand? We're not talking a two-player package deal.
Stop the fantasy talk? So, who's the leader on this sight in fantasy talk?
Besides fantasy talk can be fun - and you get different perspectives. Speculation is just as much fun as the real thing. Don't see the Jets trading Lowry but who knows, like you say you have to give value to get. |

Ehlers for your choice of
- Evan Rodriguez + 2021 4th
- Connor Sheary (Sabres retain $1.25m) + 2022 4th
Winnipeg needs to shed about $4m, THAT is your primary asset returned and either of these get you there.
Deal or No Deal. |

How else are they shedding $5m in Cap as projected to be needed? |
