It may well be there is a sweetener going from TOR to OTT to facilitate Zaitsev for Ceci. It could be a player (Connor Brown?) or it could be a pick. But there will no doubt be some additional piece going from TOR to OTT.

Only if he accepts his QO, at 4.3 but apparently he wants more money and term. Read an article that says Ceci wants 5 plus with term. So chances are, he’s not accepting it. Is my understanding from what I’ve seen online. If Brown is also going in the deal like BobMc hinted at, I like brown but he’s a 4th liner making 2.1 which is too much for the Leafs, would clear up 6.6 mil, assuming Ceci walks. Could see Brown having a nice year for the Sens, should get lots of Ice time

I can't wait to free up a bunch of cap space so we can overpay marner for doing nothing.
